Will My Vlog Definitely Get Published By The Krib?
We would love to publish every vlog we get, however with so many kids sending theirs in you need to put extra effort to make yours stand out. See our producer's guide to creating a unique vlog on our vlogs page for more info. Be it in how you stage it, to how well your express your thoughts.
But don't worry, even if your vlog doesn't get published this time round, we will happily help you with advice on how you can make it even better on the next take! There is also KRiB SKOOL which you can take online or in your school, that will give you the skills you need to grow your confidence in vlogging, presentation and presenting. Check out our KRiB SKOOL page.
How Can I Share My Vlog With My Friends Or Family?
That's easy! Once it's published on your vlogger page, you can click on the icons at the top left side of the video and share it to your parent's or your own social media or even by email straight to your friends. You never know, you might even challenge them to a book vlog face-off!
I'm Worried People Will Write Mean Comments About My Vlog.
Don't worry, we monitor all the videos and all the comments that come through to The KRiB, and will only allow supportive or constructive comments to be published under your video. In fact, as our site is a creative platform designed t help you learn, grow and perform and your video won't be available on YouTube or anywhere too overexposed, we will make every effort to ensure that the comments you get are only going to be from people who genuinely care about books as much as you.
I Would Love To Get On The Krib Tv As A Presenter, Is There A Way In?
Sure! Every one of our presenters started like you. Be it with some acting training behind them or absolutely zero, just a love of cool books. The way we discover talent is through our vloggers. Kids who submit amazing, creative vlogs and express themselves super brilliantly and confidently, definitely have a chance of coming on as a guest presenter. We run competitions that open the doors of the KRiB studio giving kids a chance to win a slot as a guest presenter on The KRiB Review Show. So keep an eye out, and keep sending those super cool vlogs in!
I Live Outside Of The Uk, It Seems The Krib Is Mainly British, Can I Still Submit A Vlog?
Absolutely! The KRiB plans to expand into other countries in the future, however for now we welcome as many international vlogs as can get! Just remember to speak clearly and follow the same rules and if you definitely can't speak much English then you can still make a vlog in your own language. Just make sure the book you choose is a very popular one in your country so that kids in the UK who do speak your language and wish to find the book you are vlogging about, can easily do so.
I Want Some Specific Advice About Becoming An Actor / Presenter Or Top Vlogger, Can I Write In And Ask?
Of course. Between the whole KRiB team there will definitely be someone who can offer you amazing advice and even give you practical suggestions of what to do or where to go. All you need to do is don't be shy and just write to us at hello@thekrib.tv and someone will endeavour to get back to you asap. We even do an acting and presenting course at our KRiB Skool - check out the KRiB Skool page for more on that. And watch this space... We'll also be doing Zoom conferencing online where you can be taught by a presenting/acting mentor. Watch this space!
I Am A Big Fan Of One Of Your Presenters, Can I Send Fan Mail?
You can. We are of course always mindful about the protection of the kids we work with, and hence we will always check every letter that comes in before giving it to them. But by all means, showing support and positive feedback is a wonderful thing for our presenters to have.
Please post your letter to: Audley House, 12 Margaret Street, London W1W 8JQ or send it to hello@thekrib.tv with the heading: Fan mail
